- Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had another tough day with 157 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. It was against a solid Buffalo defense and is only the third game he’s started so it’s definitely not time to jump ship.
- A bright spot for Minnesota was rookie running back Jerick McKinnon who had 103 yards on just 19 carries plus two receptions. McKinnon looks to be the starter the rest of this season and should be in the foreseeable future with Adrian Peterson’s future in doubt.
- Bills rookie receiver Sammy Watkins had a huge day with nine catches for 122 yards and two touchdowns. He’s well on his way to being the top rookie receiver this year.
- Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr had a big day with 10 tackle, a pass defended, and two fumble recoveries. He should be in the LB2 conversation going forward.
