- Rams running back Daryl Richardson, widely expected to be the starter for 2013, was suffering from turf-toe the entire season which contributed to his lack of effectiveness. Despite his 3.1 YPC last year, the Rams will give Richardson another chance to prove his worth. No one is bumping incumbent Zac Stacy but Richardson could be a decent handcuff, if he recovers completely.
- Current Packers running back James Starks could be an option for the Giants next year. Starks could possibly fill the void if David Wilson can’t make a complete comeback. This would dramatically increase Starks’ value over his current situation in Green Bay.
- Another Packer that could make the leap to the Giants is tight end Andrew Quarless. The free agent is primarily an in-line tight end but did well in the passing game last year. He couldn’t be a whole lot worse than current Giants starter Kevin Boss who ranked 52nd among all tight ends last year, according to Pro Football Focus.
