49ers linebacker Aldon Smith appears ready to come back. Hopefully Smith can steer clear of trouble and resume his All-Pro ways.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers should only be out a few weeks which is a relief for his long-term value. Don’t go trading away Rodgers yet.
Jacksonville has promoted rookie Denard Robinson to second-string running back. Robinson has come a long way since a mixed pre-season.
