Dynasty Recap – Week 1 – Packers 31, Bears 23

Packers

  • Another three-touchdown day for dynasty’s top quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. Nothing to see here.
  • Running back Eddie Lacy had a good day with 85 yards and a touchdown on the ground. In his current situation, he’s a top five dynasty running back.

Bears

  • Despite getting up there in age, running back Matt Forte had a big day with 141 yards and a touchdown plus five catches for 25 yards. Forte won’t have many more effective seasons but if he’s your RB2 in dynasty leagues, you’re in a good spot.
  • Tight end Martellus Bennett had a good day with five catches for 55 yards and a touchdown. Bennett should be high on the priority list after Alshon Jeffery for targets and should be no worse than a low-end TE1.

Complete updated dynasty quarterback rankings can be found here.

  • Top five remains the same: Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, and Matthew Stafford. Quarterback continues to be the most consistent position in dynasty which means a top option is not as easy to acquire. Hold on for dear life if you have one.
  • Biggest risers this month both come from the NFC East with Eli Manning to 18th from 21st; Robert Griffin to 23rd from 26th.
  • Biggest drop is (ex?) Bills quarterback Matt Cassel from 37th to 43rd. No Bills quarterback is a good option. None.

Dynasty Football Recap – Week 7 – Packers dominate Panthers, 38-17

  • Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had three more touchdowns and 255 yards. He’s battling Andrew Luck for QB1 dynasty rankings.
  • Packers receiver Randall Cobb continues his up and down season with six catches for 121 yards and a touchdown. We still wouldn’t trust him as a WR1 in dynasty formats but is still a boom-or-bust WR2.
  • Panthers tight end Greg Olsen continues his good season, leading the team with eight targets, eight catches for 105 yards.

Dynasty Recap – Week 6 – Packers escape Dolphins, 27-24

  • Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was his usual efficient self with 264 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Him and Andrew Luck are the top-tier quarterbacks to own in dynasty.
  • Packers receiver Jordy Nelson was also his usual self with nine catches for 107 yards and a touchdown. He’s a WR1 in all dynasty formats.
  • On the other side of the field, Dolphins rookie receiver Jarvis Landry broke out with six catches and 75 yards plus a touchdown on eight targets. He could be the WR2 in Miami soon and have some value.
