- Titans quarterback Jake Locker was wholly ineffective before being injured. He was 4/9 for 24 yards and an interception.
- Titans receiver Kendall Wright continues to be the leading receiver for the Titans with nine targets and seven catches for 78 yards.
- Jaguars linebacker Geno Hayes had another solid outing with 11 tackles and a pass defended. He’s currently on pace for about 100 tackles and is under contract for another team-friendly year. Hayes could be a decent LB3/4 option in dynasty leagues if you’re lacking in tackles.
- Titans defensive end Derrick Morgan had his best game of the year with six tackles, a sack and two tackles for a loss. He got to the quarterback regularly with three quarterback hits as well. Morgan has had a sub-par season after a promising pre-season which makes him a potential buy-low candidate.

Dynasty Recap – Week 10 – Rams scorch Colts, 38-8
- Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton had another great day with seven catches on eight targets for 130 yards. Even as the primary receiving option, Hilton can’t be stopped.
- Colts tight end Colby Fleener had 10 targets but only hauled in four catches for 33 yards. With Reggie Wayne out for the season, this is Fleener’s time to make himself indispensable before Dwayne Allen’s return next year.
- Rams rookie receiver Tavon Austin had two catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns to go along with a punt return for a touchdown. I’d like to think of this as the beginning of a great fantasy career but Austin only had the two catches. Personally, I need more consistency before making a serious commitment.
- The Rams defensive linemen duo of Robert Quinn and Chris Long had a combined eight tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Either one will make a fine DL1 on dynasty teams.
Dynasty Recap – Week 10 – Giants escape Raiders, 24-20
- Giants running back Andre Brown had 115 yards rushing on 30 carries, solidifying his every down role with David Wilson out. Brown should be owned in dynasty circles with Wilson’s long-term health up in the air.
- Raiders running back Rashad Jennings had an impressive 88 yards on 20 carries for a 4.4 YPC. He won’t be an option long-term but one might be able to trade him this year for an asset.
- Raiders rookie linebacker Sio Moore had his best game of the year with nine tackles, one sack and one forced fumble.
- Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul had his first sack since the season opener. His play has diminished all year and you have to wonder if he can return to form. Hopefully he can regain his value.
Dynasty Recap – Week 10 – Steelers dominate Bills, 23-10
- There wasn’t a lot to like fantasy-wise. Steelers receiver Antonio Brown hauled in six catches for 104 yards. Brown is as an underrated receiver in dynasty circles as you can get.
- Bills rookie linebacker Kiko Alonso had another 10 tackle day. He would warrant fantasy rookie of the year if there was such an award. He’s this years Luke Kuechly and will be a top five LB option in dynasty leagues.
- Bills defensive lineman Jerry Hughes had two sacks to bring his streak to three games in a row with one. Hughes is a good cheap, option to look at for 2014 but not much more than that.
Dynasty Recap – Week 10 Recap – Ravens escape Bengals, 20-17 (OT)
- Bengals running back Giovani Bernard led the team in carries with 14 and had 58 rushing to go along with an incredible eight catches for 37 yards. Bernard will definitely be the most well-rounded offensive rookie before the year is out.
- Bengals rookie tight end Tyler Eifert had 10 targets but only hauled in three of them, wasting a golden opportunity with Jermaine Gresham out. Eifert is still being worked in the offense so it may not be until 2014 that he pays dividends.
- Ravens receiver Torrey Smith had similar issues with only five catches on 14 targets. It will continue to be difficult for Smith to rack up stats if there’s no one in Baltimore to take some of the pressure off.
- Bengals linebacker Vincent Rey had 15 tackles, three sacks, three passes defended and an interception. An unbelievable day that may be the peak of Rey’s NFL career. Don’t expect Rey to assume the starter role in dynasty circle.s
Dynasty Recap – Week 10 – Vikings beat Redskins, 34-27
- Redskins running back Alfred Morris continued to romp with 139 yards on 26 carries for a 5+ YPA. Good things happen when Morris gets the ball. You can lock him in as a good, young runner in a very fantasy-friendly offense.
- Redskins tight end Jordan Reed had the second most targets with nine and hauled in six catches for 62 yards and a touchdown. Reed should be a top two option in the Redskins pass game for many years to come.
- Vikings replacement tight end John Carlson led the team in targets with seven which just shows you how random the Vikings passing game is. No one can be trusted right now and there’s not even a dynasty hold except Patterson.
- On defense, Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway had his best tackle game of the year with 16. Greenway has a good, but not great, year fantasy-wise. Greenway will be 31 next year and Minnesota may want to revamp a defense that’s currently 30th in yardage allowed.
Daily Dynasty Update – November 6th
- 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith appears ready to come back. Hopefully Smith can steer clear of trouble and resume his All-Pro ways.
- Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers should only be out a few weeks which is a relief for his long-term value. Don’t go trading away Rodgers yet.
- Jacksonville has promoted rookie Denard Robinson to second-string running back. Robinson has come a long way since a mixed pre-season.
Dynasty Recap – Week 9 – Bears beat Packers, 27-20
- Packers running back Eddie Lacy showed he could carry the load with 150 yards on 22 carries for a 6+ YPC. It’s good to see Lacy producing without Aaron Rodgers’ protection.
- Bears running back Matt Forte had 125 yards rushing to go along with 54 yards on five catches. Forte is having a lights-out season. The hope is he can keep it up for 2-3 years.
- Packers safety Morgan Burnett had 10 tackles to keep up a 100 tackle pace. Burnett had a pass defended to go along with it. After sitting out with injury the first month, Burnett has returned to form and should still be considered a DB1 in dynasty leagues.
Dynasty Recap – Week 9 – Colts come back against Texans, 27-24
- Houston quarterback Case Keenum threw for 350 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions on 20 of 34 passes. While the Indianapolis doesn’t have a great defense, it’s an impressive line against any team. Keenum could be a good young quarterback to pick up for your dynasty team if you can’t snag a quarterback in the draft.
- Colts running back Trent RIchardson only had eight carries with Indianapolis behind most of the game. However, he only had 2.5 YPC, continuing a bad trend of not getting over 4.0. It might be time to sell high on Richardson.
- Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton led the team with 12 targets, nine catches, 121 yards and three touchdowns. While the Texans season has gone down the tubes, the defense has still produced with a top defense in the league. Hilton is legit.
Daily Recap – Week 9 – Patriots destroy Steelers
- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady finally woke up and went off for 432 yards and four touchdowns. Even with his age, Brady is in a pass-first offense and should be around for at least 2-3 years. He’s still a fine pickup in dynasty leagues.
- The recipient of some of those yards was rookie Aaron Dobson who had five receptions for 130 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets. If Dobson can improve his catch rate, he’ll be the beneficiary for a long time.
- Patriots running back Stevan Ridley also made a bit of a comeback with 115 rushing yards on 26 carries. Ridley will probably never be a top-tier option at running back but he should provide value with his youth and opportunity.
- Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones had another two sacks to bring his season total up to 8.5. The second-year defensive end should also continue to improve and has an unusually high (for a defensive linemen) 50 tackles in nine games.
