- The Cordarrelle Patterson train is just starting to pick up steam in Minnesota as local analysts are starting to peg Patterson to have a ‘monster’ season. It’s understandable as Patterson will be only behind Greg Jennings on the depth chart and has the luxury of Norv Turner as his offensive coordinator. His stock should only increase as we get closer to the season.
- Speaking of wide receiver dynasty stock, reports are indicating Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins could be the best receiver prospect since Julio Jones. In a crowded rookie field, Watkins should go high in the NFL and dynasty rookie drafts.
- New Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak said he wants to use a two running back system and get Bernard Pierce back on track. Pierce is an excellent buy-low candidate as he rehabs from rotator cuff surgery.
- Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware hopes to miss less practice time in 2014. It’s a good thing since Ware’s age and injuries issues are sapping him of his top-tier talent. Ware may not have much left in the tank for your IDP team.
