Dynasty Recap – Week 8 – Giants slip by Eagles, 15-7

  • Eagles rookie quarterback Matt Barkley was forced into action after a re-aggravation of Mike Vick’s hamstring issue. Barkley did go 17/26 for 158 yards but had one interception and one lost fumble. Turnovers are the quickest way to get the hook so Barkley will have to cut that out. It certainly didn’t look like he was someone to monitor in dynasty leagues.
  • Giants receiver Victor Cruz had seven catches for 86 yards on 10 targets despite sitting out a portion of the game due to injury. Cruz is about the most reliable fantasy dynasty player on the Giants.
  • Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks had his biggest tackle game of the year with 12. Kendricks was a bit of a sleeper heading into this year but hasn’t lit it up as expected. Maybe this is the start of something.
