Dynasty Recap – Week 14 – Broncos beat Titans, 51-28

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was ridiculously good, going 39 of 59 for 397 yards and four touchdowns. Even if Peyton can play 2-3 more years, it would be worth it. He’s in the top-tier of dynasty quarterbacks.
Broncos rookie running back Montee Ball continues to play well while spelling Knowshon Moreno. Ball ran for 77 yards on just 15 carries while catching three passes for 10 yards. It’s hard to say what the Broncos plan is in 2014 but Ball should be a part of it.
Titans rookie receiver Justin Hunter had a good day with 114 yards on four catches on eight targets and a touchdown. It’s his second 100-yard game in three weeks. Between Hunter and Kendall Wright, Tennessee has solid receiving options if they can ever figure out the quarterback position. Hunter could be an intriguing dynasty prospect.
Titans safety Bernard Pollard had three passes defended, giving him eight on the year. In 2013, Pollard has 81 tackles, three interceptions, and the aforementioned eight passes defended. Another stat-filled season for Pollard and should be high on dynasty defensive back rankings.

Dynasty Recap – Week 6 – Broncos outlast Jaguars, 35-19

Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon had another big day with 14 catches and 190 yards. Just imagine the possibilities if the Jaguars upgrade at quarterback.
Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno had 15 carries compared to four for Ronnie Hillman and three for Montee Ball. Both Ball and Hillman could probably be had in your leagues for cheap just to see if one of them wins the job next year.
Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny had good effort with seven tackles, a pass defended and an interception that happened to be returned for a touchdown. On the year, Pos has 54 tackles to go with seven passes defended, three tackles for a loss and two interceptions. He’s still one of the premier middle linebackers in IDP dynasty.
Peyton Manning is still Peyton Manning.

You really can’t go wrong with either Peyton Manning or Tony Romo as your dynasty quarterback. That is all.
Denver running back Knowshon Moreno continued as the starter with 19 carries for 93 yards to go along with five catches. With Denver’s success, you have to wonder if they won’t want to keep Moreno beyond this year and inhibit Ronnie Hillman‘s and Montee Ball’s production.
Denver tight end Julius Thomas was Manning’s favorite target with 12. As long as Peyton’s there, Thomas is a TE1 in dynasty leagues.
Cowboys rookie receiver Terrance Williams had a career best day with four catches for 151 yards. With more days like that, Dallas might be inclined to let Miles Austin go at some point.
Dallas safety Barry Church had 11 more tackles and is on pace for over 100 for year. At just 25, Church could be locked in to the free safety role for a while.

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning did Peyton Manning things and threw for 300+ and four touchdowns. Even though he’s 37, Manning is still a strong buy candidate. 300 yards and three touchdowns appears to be automatic and consistency is golden in fantasy football. Just be sure to grab Brock Osweiler while you can.
As for the running game, Denver still had their backs carry it about evenly with 12, 11, and eight carries. It’s a situation to avoid for now but Ball, with the most years left on his deal and the highest drafted, is still the guy to own. Now might be a good time to buy low.
For Philadelphia, quarterback Mike Vick had a decent game with 248 yards to go along with 41 yards rushing. If he makes it to the end of the season, he’s a great contributor for 2013 but you’d be wise to trade him for an asset if you’re able.
Denver defensive back Duke Ihenacho had his best game since his surprise game one performance. His nine tackles this week were the most since his week one, 12-tackle performance. With only seven tackles combined in weeks two and three, Ihenacho just isn’t a reliable defensive back for dynasty purposes.

Peyton Manning did Peyton Manning things, throwing for 374 yards and three touchdowns all while going 32/37 on pass attempts. He’s one of those where age doesn’t matter in fantasy, he may win you a championship by himself.
The three-headed monster also known as Denver’s running game had carries of 12 (Knowshon Moreno), 11 (Montee Ball), and 9 (Ronnie Hillman). Hillman won this round with 66 yards. Ball wasn’t far behind at 61 but did have a late fumble. Ball is still the better dynasty prospect as they used the higher draft pick but nothing is certain there.
Oakland defensive end Lamarr Houston continues to be a bright spot with a sack and forced fumble. Houston is an underrated end that has some big play potential as one of the only talents on the Oakland defense and would make a fine DL2 on your dynasty fantasy team.
On the other hand, Oakland running back Darren McFadden had nine yards on 12 carries. He’s off the dynasty map until further notice.
