Now we have some definitive dates on Knowshon Moreno’s knee after undergoing a scope. Doctors give him 4-5 weeks before he sees action again.- Expect the Carlos Hyde bandwagon to get more crowded after he displayed feature back capabilities in practice. He’s squarely in the first round discussion in rookie drafts and could challenge Bishop Sankey for top back.
- Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar has lined up all over the field in OTA’s and could provide some Darren Sproles-type production under new coordinator Scott Linehan. Still just 25, Dunbar could be a valuable piece in a high-powered offense.
- Expect Bernard Pierce to be the starter in Baltimore should Ray Rice receive a multi-game suspension. Pierce has had an up and down career so far and is a complete gamble at this point.
- A name to keep on your radar is Bengals linebacker Emmanuel Lamur. He’s expected to play all three downs for a very good defense and could rack up plenty of tackles.

Daily Dynasty Update – April 24th
Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts is entering a contract year after two average seasons as a starter. Shoddy quarterback play can partially be to blame but he should have no issues this year as Jacksonville is expected to draft one in the early rounds. Just 26, Shorts is still a dynasty buy for me.- Lions running back Mikel Leshoure is skipping workouts in the hopes of getting out of Detroit. He’s a clear #3 on the depth chart and is hoping to catch on a #2 somewhere else. Chances are slim that happens.
- Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar is ready to go for 2014 as DeMarco Murray’s backup. Murray has a spotty injury history so it’s likely Dunbar will see some significant playing time, if he can stay healthy himself.
Daily Dynasty Update – November 30th
- Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is on pace for a career-high in touches. That’s music to re-draft owners of McCoy but not dynasty leaguers. It’ll be close to 1,000 touches in the last three years for McCoy. Dynasty leaguers need to be cautious with McCoy in the near future.
- Cowboys running back Lance Dunbar will be out for the season after a knee injury suffered in the Thanksgiving day game. Dunbar, averaging 5.0 YPC this season, was doing well as the change-of-pace back behind DeMarco Murray. Dunbar faces rookie Joseph Randle for that role in 2014 along with any other options the Jerry Jones regime brings in.
- The Bills are encouraging rookie quarterback E.J. Manual to let it loose in the passing game. They likely want to see what they have at quarterback and sooner rather than later. The same could be said for dynasty league owners of Manual.
