Dynasty Recap – Week 7 – Redskins 31, Buccaneers 30

Redskins

  • Kirk Cousins had one of the best games of his career with 317 passing yards and three touchdowns plus zero interceptions. Despite the game, it’s doubtful Cousins is the long-term solution for anyone.
  • Jordan Reed came back from injury with 11 catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns proving he can be a TE1 when healthy. So much risk however.
  • Rookie receiver Jamison Crowder continues to fill in nicely for the injured DeSean Jackson with five catches for 48 yards. He could be an interesting dynasty stash even when Jackson returns.

Buccaneers

  • Rookie Jameis Winston had a solid day with 297 yards and two touchdowns. He’s up to nine touchdowns on the season and should only get better with a healthy Mike Evans.
  • Doug Martin continues to bounce back with 136 yards on the ground plus three catches for 35 yards. He’s played like a RB1 this year but is a free agent after the season. You may want to sell high while you can.
  • Mike Evans had his best game of the year with eight catches for 164 yards and a touchdown. He’s struggled through injuries this year but should be back on track as a WR1.

Dynasty Recap – Week 6 – Jets 34, Redskins 20

Jets

  • Running back Chris Ivory continues to bulldoze teams with 146 more yards plus a touchdown. He’s now averaging over 110 yards per game and is a rock solid RB2 in dynasty formats despite his relative old age of 27.
  • Receiver Brandon Marshall continues to dominate with seven more catches for 111 yards and a touchdown. He’s shown no signs of slowing down after being traded from Chicago and should be considered a high-end WR2 in dynasty formats.
  • Defensive end Sheldon Richardson had a half sack in his return to the Jets from suspension. He may have lost value sitting out the first four games but should be considered a DL2 in dynasty formats. He’s still only 24 but, currently, plays on a good, young Jets defense.

Redskins

  • Rookie receiver Jamison Crowder caught four passes for 40 yards in a bad game for the entire offense. He should be scaled back as DeSean Jackson returns from injury but Crowder could be an asset next year.
  • Reserve tight end Derek Carrier had his best game of the year with four catches for 39 yards. Carrier is only playing thanks to injuries to Jordan Reed and Niles Paul but could be a good reserve for your dynasty team.
