- Saints quarterback Drew Brees slung it around for 371 yards, two touchdowns but three interceptions. Brees hasn’t found his rhythm this year which could mean the beginning of the end.
- In, possibly, his last start for this year, Saints running back Khiry Robinson had 89 yards and a touchdown. Robinson is averaging more than five yards a carry this year and should be the primary back in New Orleans next year. Count him as a RB3 in dynasty leagues.
- With rookie Mike Evans out, Tampa receiver Vincent Jackson broke out with eight catches for 144 yards. He should still be considered a WR2/3 in dynasty leagues.
- Bucs linebacker Lavonte David continues to show why he’s a LB1 in dynasty formats with 14 tackles and a pass defended.

Dynasty Recap – Week 2 – Packers come back against Jets, 31-24
- Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was in top form with 346 yards and three touchdowns. Thanks to his production and age (unlike Drew Brees and Peyton Manning), he’s the consensus QB1 in dynasty formats.
- The primary beneficiary was receiver Jordy Nelson at nine catches for 209 yards on a staggering 16 targets. Thanks to his extension, Nelson is a consensus WR1 in all dynasty formats.
- Meanwhile, Jets receiver Eric Decker was having a nice day with four catches, 63 yards and a touchdown before getting injured. Decker is proving he can be a reliable WR2/3 in dynasty formats even with questionable quarterback play.
- Packers safety Morgan Burnett had another great day with 11 tackles and a pass defended. He’s a legit DB1 in all dynasty formats.

Top five remains the same with Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, Matt Stafford, and Drew Brees. - Only real riser this month was Philip Rivers from 17th to 14th. He will have receiver Malcolm Floyd back and another year or Keenan Allen. Rivers is more a high-end QB2 instead of a low-tier QB1.
- Rookie Blake Bortles drops from 15 to 20. Bortles may be more polarizing than Johnny Manziel as far as what his value will ultimately be. He probably won’t go lower than the second round in dynasty rookie drafts.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 24th
Saints quarterback Drew Brees recently said he’d like to play in to his 40’s. That’s great news for Brees owners considering that’s almost five years away.- Big news for Robert Woods dynasty owners where he’ll man the slot in place of Stevie Johnson. With the addition of Sammy Watkins and Mike Williams, it should free Woods up.
- There continues to be doubt about David Wilson’s return to the Giants. Wilson is still ranked fairly high at 34 in our dynasty rankings but his status is truly questionable.
Dynasty Impact – Saints select Brandin Cooks
Dynasty Impact: After trading up, the Saints get Brandin Cooks and his 4.33-speed. Putting him in the slot in that offense will lead to big numbers for Cooks right away and should be the second receiver off the board in dynasty rookie drafts. For Drew Brees, the Saints inject some youth in the receiving corps which should help sustain his crazy fantasy numbers. Cooks will be a high pick in 2014.

- Top five remains the same but slightly different order. Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, and Cam Newton make up the top three. Drew Brees does drop a bit to five because of age and losing a few reliable weapons.
- The only other noticeable drop was Tampa quarterback Mike Glennon thanks to the Josh McCown signing. It really doesn’t say a lot when you bring in a better quarterback for the second season of a young quarterback.

- Slight change at the top as Cam Newton and Drew Brees, switch spots. Your new top five is Rodgers, Luck, Newton, Brees, Stafford.
- Your risers include Miami’s Ryan Tannehill, up two spots to 15th. Tannehill got high marks from two of our three sources but, personally, he needs to show something this year to keep this spot. Otherwise, expect Miami to start looking forward.
- Biggest drop of the month was Eli Manning. Now 33 and losing his (former) #1 receiver, Manning will need to hit the brakes on the downward trend he’s had the last few years. His touchdown totals have gone from 31 to 29 to 26 to 18 over the last four years. The 18 represents his lowest total since his rookie year. Yowza.
