Dynasty Recap – Week 4 – Colts 16, Jaguars 13

Colts

  • Receiver Donte Moncrief continues to be the best Colts receiver with six catches for 75 yards. He should be considered a WR2 in dynasty ranks going forward.
  • Despite just turning 32, linebacker D’Qwell Jackson continues to rack up the tackles with 17 more. He has 47 on the season and should be considered a LB1 in dynasty IDP formats.

Jaguars

  • Blake Bortles had a decent day against a porous defense with 298 yards and a touchdown but it took him 50 pass attempts to get there. He’s still way down the QB2 tier.
  • In a positive development, rookie running back T.J. Yeldon had 105 yards on 22 carries for his best game of his career. He should still be considered no higher than a RB2 for dynasty purposes.
  • Safety Johnathan Cyprien had a huge day with 14 tackles and a fumble recovery. Cyprien has battled injuries in the past but, when healthy, he’s a low-end DB1.

Dynasty Recap – Week 16 – Jets beat Browns, 24-13

  • Today was a good day with Geno Smith going 20 of 36 for 214 yards, two touchdowns, zero interceptions, and 48 yards rushing. Depending on coach Rex Ryan’s future, Smith could be back as the starter next year.
  • Jets running back Chris Ivory had 109 yards on 20 rushes, showing dynasty owners what he’s capable of when given the chance. He’ll be a low-end RB2, high-end RB3 next year.
  • Browns receiver Josh Gordon bounced back a little with six catches for 97 yards. He’s firmly entrenched as a Tier 1 receiver for 2014 and the settling of the quarterback situation should only solidify that.
  • Browns linebacker D’Qwell Jackson had 11 more tackles for 132 on the year. There were some questions about Jackson adjusting to the new 3-4 defensive scheme but he’s squashed those. He’ll be a LB1 heading in to 2014.
