Dynasty Recap – Week 7 – Jaguars 34, Bills 31

Jaguars

Blake Bortles had an up and down day with 182 yards plus two touchdowns and an interception. After looking like a bust in the first part of the season, Bortles has come on strong lately. He could end up as a low-end dynasty QB1 by the end of the season.
Meanwhile, running back T.J. Yeldon had a good day with 115 yards on 20 carries and a touchdown. He faced a tough defense so it was encouraging. The entire Jaguar offense has picked it up lately which is good news for Yeldon.
Young receiver Allen Robinson re-established his place as the top target in Jacksonville, leading the team in targets (9), receptions (6), and yards (98). He also added a touchdown. Robinson can safely be viewed as a low-end WR2 in dynasty rankings

Bills

Running back LeSean McCoy had an ok day with 68 yards rushing plus two catches for 36 yards. He’s a low-end RB1 until further notice.
Receiver Robert Woods had a good game in place of starter Sammy Watkins with nine catches for 84 yards and a touchdown. Woods may not find a long-term place in Buffalo but should be a reliable piece somewhere else.
Safety Corey Graham had nine tackles plus an interception returned for a touchdown. He’s played like a solid DB1 this season but, at 30 years old, should probably considered more of a DB2 in IDP dynasty leagues.

Dynasty Recap – Week 2 – Jaguars 23, Dolphins 20

Jaguars

A week after looking like a bust, quarterback Blake Bortles bounced back, slightly, with 273 yards and two touchdowns. Still not a whole lot to get excited about until he does this consistently.
Rookie running back T.J. Yeldon didn’t do a whole lot to prove his worth as a first round rookie pick with 70 rushing yards on 25 carries. He’s the lead back, for now, so he still retains RB2/3 value in dynasty leagues but make sure he gets into gear soon.
A Jag that didn’t disappoint was receiver Allen Robinson with six catches for 155 yards and two touchdowns. I didn’t believe it before but Robinson is quickly showing his WR2/3 status in dynasty rankings.

Dolphins

Another redemption story was quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who went off in the loss with 359 yards plus two touchdowns. Those would be QB1 numbers I just don’t know how often Tannehill gets there.
Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry had another big PPR day with eight catches for 110 yards. He led the team in targets and is easily Tannehill’s favorite receiver. As long as that stays true, Landry could knock on the WR2 door for dynasty as well.

Replacing RG3, quarterback Kirk Cousins looked pretty good with 250 yards and a touchdown. There was some chatter that Cousins looked better than RG3 before the season anyway but this may lend credence. He’s a deep roster stash at this point.
Replacing Jordan Reed at tight end, Niles Paul looked great with eight catches for 99 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. In coach Jay Gruden’s pass happy offense, Paul could see some good days. He’ll have to do it a lot more to pass Reed on the depth chart.
Perhaps performing sooner than expected, receiver Allen Robinson led the team in receptions, yards, and targets with four catches on 75 yards. Robinson was never expected to contribute this early so his stock may go up sooner than expected.
