Chargers receiver Malcolm Floyd should be cleared to play this season after a neck injury. Already 32, Floyd hold more re-draft value than dynasty but it could help draw attention away from rising star Keenan Allen.- Former Browns receiver Greg Little was claimed off waivers by the Raiders. Little has talent but has never corralled it and joins a crowded receiving corps. His dynasty value is still pretty low.
- With Robert Mathis suspended the first four games, Bjeorn Werner will get first chance at replacing him in the starting lineup. Werner was drafted in the first round but didn’t match expectations his rookie year. This is likely a make-or-break situation for Werner.

Daily Dynasty Update – May 17th
Former Rams running back Daryl Richardson was claimed by the Jets. He should be no higher than third on the depth chart.- Those holding out hope for a Mike Goodson return can probably move on as he’s expected to be the odd man out in the Jets backfield.
- Colts linebacker Robert Mathis will be suspended the first four games of the year. Mathis is already 33 and playing with fire the longer he stays out there. Plan your IDP rosters accordingly.
- Giants end Damontre Moore was a hot commodity in rookie IDP dynasty drafts but didn’t do much in 2013. With Justin Tuck gone, Moore should step in to the starting job even after his shoulder heals.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 14th
Texans receiver Andre Johnson was open about a possible trade demand. Johnson is, seemingly, quarterback-proof as he still churned out 1,400 yards with an ineffective Matt Schaub and rookie Case Keenum. Whether in Houston or somewhere else, Johnson is still a solid dynasty receiver.- Speaking of, after lots of talk, the Texans will not be trading for Ryan Mallett. Ryan Fitzpatrick looks like he’ll be under center in week one.
- Eli Manning is still recovering from ankle surgery but should be good to go. He has a new weapon in Odell Beckham along with Rashad Jennings. The tools are there for Manning to be successful and could be a decent buy-low candidate.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 13th
The Redskins never came close to dealing quarterback Kirk Cousins and he will remain RG3’s primary backup. For dynasty purposes, that’s all he’s good for as its highly unlikely he ever gets a starting job.- After potentially starting the season atop the depth chart at receiver, Stedman Bailey will be suspended the first four games for a performance enhancing substance. The Rams didn’t start any receivers this week so Bailey had a good shot at getting significant playing time. However, this will severely handicap that and diminish any real dynasty value.
- Don’t get too excited about Levine Toilolo as the Falcons are expected to give more targets to Harry Douglas as they update their offense. Douglas will have some value but not nearly as much as last year when Julio Jones and Roddy White were injured.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 12th
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton survived the draft with no serious competition. His dynasty value is still shaky but it appears Dalton dynasty owners can hold on to hope another year.- In other Bengals news, the Law Firms time is about done after Cincinnati drafted Jeremy Hill from LSU. Green-Ellis dynasty owners can drop him.
- The Giants now expect running back David Wilson to be cleared for camp. Unless you have a deep roster with a taxi squad, Wilson probably isn’t worth keeping.
- Browns receiver Josh Gordon will probably be suspended at least half the year, if not the entire year. It’s a big blow for the Browns after a much celebrated draft.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 10th
Some more fallout from the NFL Draft is the drafting of LSU running back Jeremy Hill by Cincinnati. Not only does it spell the end for BenJarvus Green-Ellis but severely cuts in to any dreams people had for Gio Bernard being a three-down back. Lower your expectations.- It’s now confirmed that Justin Blackmon won’t be back in Jacksonville for 2014. Blackmon dynasty owners should cut bait unless they have an extremely large roster with a taxi squad.
- Browns receiver Nate Burleson broke his arm and will be out until training camp. It’s another blow for the Browns after potentially losing Josh Gordon for the year.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 9th
While new Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel isn’t expected to start over Brian Hoyer, it won’t be long. Hoyer dynasty owners had their pipe dreams dashed last night when the Browns traded up to snag Manziel.- Mike Glennon appears safe in Tampa, for now. The Bucs drafted receiver Mike Evans over a quarterback and Lovie Smith, apparently, loves him now.
- Even before the Bills drafted Sammy Watkins, it was apparent Stevie Johnson was on the block. That appears even more likely now.
Daily Dynasty Update – March 8th
Lions running back Joique Bell is nursing a knee injury but there are no indications it’s significant. He remains on track to split carries with Reggie Bush and could possibly be the long-term solution.- Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon shouldn’t be counted on for 2014. Blackmon was a highly rated receiver in dynasty drafts just two years ago but his behavior keeps getting in the way. Still might be a decent buy-low candidate if you have a taxi squad.
- Texans receiver Andre Johnson didn’t show up to the first day of mini-camp but they are just voluntary. There’s been no indication of injury or a contract dispute so you can still count on Johnson as a WR2 in dynasty circles.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 7th
Texans running back Arian Foster was a full participant in mini-camp. Foster could be a decent buy-low candidate for those scared off by his injury history. There are still red flags but Foster as a high-end RB2 would be ideal.- The Bucs are not hiding the fact that they’d like to trade quarterback Mike Glennon. Of course, the signing of Josh McCown was the first indicator and this week’s draft could be the nail in the coffin for Glennon’s time in Tampa. Look for quarterback-needy teams like Minnesota or Cleveland to at least ask.
- Christian Ponder dynasty owners can probably cut the cord as Minnesota is going with Matt Cassel as their starting quarterback and could even use a high pick this week on another.
- Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo isn’t 100% yet after tearing his pectoral muscle. Mayo is a legit LB1 when healthy but you may want to hold off looking into him until he’s healthy.
- Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor is recovering from hip surgery and could miss most of the pre-season. Chancellor took a back seat to Earl Thomas in the Seattle secondary last season but is still a DB2 when healthy.
Daily Dynasty Update – May 6th
49ers running back Marcus Lattimore isn’t all the way back yet from his knee injury which could be good, or bad, in your dynasty league. He was a hot commodity last year, especially in leagues with taxi squads. However, with the influx of talent in this draft, he may be lost in the shuffle.- In other 49er running back news, LaMichael James isn’t at voluntary workouts. Any dynasty value he has is diminishing. If you still have James on your team, it’s time to move on.
- After some initial speculation, the Rams insist they aren’t shopping Sam Bradford. It was believed they were targeting Johnny Manziel which, if true, would have severely handicapped Manziel’s dynasty value.
