The Bills claim that C.J. Spiller should get 20 touches a game. Stop me if you’ve heard that before. With the addition of Bryce Brown thanks for a trade involving a 4th round pick, it’s hard to imagine Brown not seeing some playing time.- Temper your Chris Johnson expectations as New York is widely assumed to use a committee approach. Johnson will never approach workhorse status again but could be a decent pickup in PPR leagues.
- Get your final bids in for either Patriots receiver Josh Boyce or Kenbrell Thompkins. They’re battling for the last receiver spot in New England.

Daily Dynasty Update – July 11th
Looks like Packers receiver Jarrett Boykin has the inside track on the WR3 position in Green Bay. The development is significant for Davante Adams ADP in rookie drafts.- It appears that, mercifully, it will be put up or shut up time for Colts running back Trent Richardson. He has capable backups that could unseat him early.
- The early indications are Andre Johnson will not be traded away from Houston. Any move would be good for his dynasty stock as there’s not many teams with so little offensive talent around him.
Daily Dynasty Update – July 10th
Well, it’s official: Texans receiver Andre Johnson wants out of Houston. One would assume the move will be good for Johnson in the short-term but bad for all Houston position players.- Tampa rookie tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins should be ready for the season but will be behind thanks to late graduation. He’s also recovering from a stress fracture surgery earlier this off-season. ASJ could be a good sleeper pick in your rookie dynasty drafts as he could develop into a prime red zone target.
- Expect Lions defensive end Ziggy Ansah to be moved around more along the defensive line which should free him up to get to the passer. Ansah had a decent rookie year and should progress even more.
Daily Dynasty Update – July 9th
New Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak is expected to use tight end Dennis Pitta all over the place. It’s great news for Pitta dynasty owners who should see him return to 2012 form if he stays healthy.- Apparently, Vikings rookie Teddy Bridgewater is a lot further along than new offensive coordinator Norv Turner thought he would be. We fully expect Bridgewater to start games by the end of the year if not sooner and like his dynasty value.
- Speaking of the Vikings, tight end Kyle Rudolph is looking at past Norv Turner tight ends for pointers. Rudolph is a good sleeper in dynasty leagues and should be targeted.
Daily Dynasty Update – July 8th
Finally and mercifully, Lions running back Joique Bell is 100% and ready to go. We like him better in Detroit than Reggie Bush.- Speaking of Detroit running backs, there’s some word about Theo Reddick acting as a Darren Sproles type back. Funny but I thought Reggie Bush already did that.
- One name to keep an eye on late in dynasty drafts is running back Bryce Brown of Buffalo. As this article points out, both Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller are free agents after this year Brown could step in as a starter in 2015.
Daily Dynasty Update – July 7th
Stop me if you’ve heard this before but Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski looks like he’ll be healthy enough to start the season. Gronkowski has constantly teased dynasty owners the past few years.- As if the Darren Sproles crowd didn’t need another blow, it looks like Eagles backup running back Chris Polk might see an uptick in touches. Polk is the backup to own in Philly.
- For you IDPers, new Titan Wesley Woodyard will be one of the starting LB’s in their new 3-4 defense. He’s quietly averaged about 100 tackles per year the last three years and should keep that pace up in the AFC South.
- For those that think Roy Helu is the obvious choice for third down duties in Washington, think again. Chris Thompson could emerge as the more dynamic playmaker in Jay Gruden’s offense and eventually beat out Helu long-term.
Daily Dynasty Update – July 3rd
In the wake of the Kiko Alonso news, the most likely candidate to replace him is rookie Preston Brown. He was a tackle machine at Louisville and could be a good value in IDP leagues.- The news is all good for Cardinals running back Andre Ellington this off-season. Coach Bruce Arians is predicting 25 carries a game which would put him on track for 300 on the year.
- Dolphins defensive lineman Dion Jordan will be suspended the first four games of the, further complicating a chance to turn around his career. Jordan is not looking like a viable product in dynasty IDP leagues.
Daily Dynasty Update – July 1st
Confirming what we already knew, Giants running back Rashad Jennings will operate as the worse horse in a revamped New York offense. David Wilson is still not back and Peyton Hillis isn’t scaring anyone.- It looks like Titans quarterback Jake Locker will be molded after other Ken Whisenhunt projects like Ben Roethlisberger and Kurt Warner and be asked to stay in the pocket. Locker has wheels but not the arm so it’s an interesting route to go.
- After missing out on the entire 2013 season, Giants safety Stevie Brown says he is healed and ready to go. Brown had a productive 2012 before tearing his ACL and could be a reliable DB2 in dynasty leagues, only turning 27 this year.
- Titans tight end Delanie Walker expects a big season this year. He finished in the top 12 of tight ends last year and is being extremely undervalued.
Daily Dynasty Update – June 30th
The Devonta Freeman bandwagon just got more crowded with word that his ascension to the top of the Falcons running back depth chart may happen sooner rather than later. Stevan Jackson is 31 and is no guarantee to return to the Pro Bowler he used to be.- Further confirmation that Arizona running back Andre Ellington will get 20+ touches per game. Ellington was blocked by Rashard Mendenhall last year but with Mendenhall retired, there is no one to stop Ellington from being the Cardinals work horse.
- For however long Browns running back Ben Tate can stay healthy, he might be in a time share with rookie Terrance West.
- Even with the signing of LaGarrette Blount, Le’Veon Bell is still expected to see over 300 touches. Bell is one of the few, young running backs that can be relied on for a few years which makes him a RB1 in dynasty leagues.
Daily Dynasty Update – June 27th
Stop me if you heard this before but receiver Kenbrell Thompkins is looking good in Patriots camp. Any receiver in New England will be a risk thanks to the crowd they’ve accumulated.- Raiders receiver Andre Holmes is also looking good in camp. He has far less competition in Oakland and could be a starter sooner rather than later. However, he doesn’t exactly have a quarterback that’s shown to be reliable for 2014.
- Expect the Ravens to tone down the passing and become a more run-based offense under new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak. This is great news for Bernard Pierce and Ray Rice owners.
