- Jaguars rookie quarterback Blake Bortles didn’t have a good day in the victory with 159 yards and one touchdown with three interceptions. He did add 37 yards rushing. Bortles will show streaks of QB2 status this year but could be a low-end QB1 in the future.
- Meanwhile, Jaguars running back Denard Robinson had the best game of his career with 127 yards rushing and a touchdown. Robinson is, by no means, the long-term solution in Jacksonville.
- Browns receiver Andrew Hawkins had the best game of his season with five catches and 112 yards. With no Josh Gordon, Hawkins is easily the top receiver target in Cleveland.
- Browns rookie linebacker Christian Kirksey had the best game of his short career with nine tackles and a sack. There was a lot of hype around Kirksey into the season and this could be the start of a productive dynasty career.
