Dynasty Recap – Week 5 – Panthers surprise Bears, 31-24

  • Bears quarterback Jay Cutler continued his low-end QB1 ways with 289 yards and two touchdowns plus 22 yards rushing and a rushing touchdown. As long as the Bears are playing in close games or from behind, they’ll have a reason to pass.
  • Bears running back Matt Forte continued his RB1 ways with 61 yards rushing plus 12 catches for 105 yards receiving and a touchdown. There’s just no stopping Forte as one of the most consistent backs out there.
  • Panthers tight end Greg Olsen may have had some additional motivation playing against his old team with six catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Olsen will never have as much upside as the elite tight ends in dynasty but his floor is higher than most.
  • Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly dominated the middle with 15 tackles, his best output of the season, Kuechly is picking up where he left off last year.
