Dynasty Recap – Week 12 – Jaguars beat Texans, 13-6

  • Texans quarterback Case Keenum’s downward trend continues. He went 18 of 34 for 169 yards, a 5.0 YPA, one interception and no touchdowns. Keenum started hot but hasn’t looked like the Texans quarterback of the future for weeks now.
  • Texans running back Dennis Johnson filled in for the ice-cold Ben Tate, taking 13 carries for 74 yards and adding two catches for 13 yards. Johnson figures to be Arian Foster’s backup in Houston next year. You’d be wise now to try to pick off Johnson on the cheap.
  • Texans defensive lineman J.J. Watt had another great game, racking up nine tackles, a sack and two tackles for a loss. Watt’s quickly regained his All-Pro form after a slow start to the season.
  • Jaguars safety Johnathan Cyprien had a solid outing with six tackles and his first (two) passes defended this year. Cyprien hasn’t had quite the year that was expected but he’s still young and has a ton of talent to produce. He could be had in your league on the cheap.
