- Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery continues to demand the most attention in the Bears passing game with an incredible 18 targets, catching half of those for 114 yards. Thanks to new coach Marc Trestman, Jay Cutler is passing the ball around and it’s working to Jeffery’s benefit.
- Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew had his best game of the year with five catches and 70 yards. In his four-plus seasons in Detroit, Pettigrew has yet to break out and has shown what any tight end can do in that offense. His contract is up after this year and Detroit will almost surely look for an upgrade in the off-season.
- Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch had another solid game with seven tackles. Tulloch is on pace for another 100 tackle season and should be in Detroit for a while.
