Dynasty Recap – Week 17 – Panthers edge Falcons, 21-20

  • Panthers tight end Greg Olsen ended the year with six catches for 42 yards and a touchdown. Olsen has quietly been a TE1 all year as Cam Newton’s favorite target. He will be again no matter who the Panthers bring in.
  • Falcons receiver Roddy White showed vintage form again with eight catches for 91 yards and a touchdown. There’s a lot to be excited about with the Falcons offense heading in to 2014. All of them are buy-low candidates.
  • Panthers end Greg Hardy had an incredible four sacks to bring his season total to 15. He’ll be 26 heading in to 2014 and is a legit DL1 in dynasty leagues.
  • Falcons linebacker Paul Worrilow capped his impressive rookie half-season with 13 tackles and a sack. Worrilow had over 100 tackles in barely a half season as a starter and the future is bright.

Week 3 Dynasty Recap – Panthers destroy Giants, 38-0

  • There was nothing going on offense for New York. It might be time to jump ship on the Giants veterans for dynasty purposes. Guys like Hakeem Nicks or Eli Manning might net you some value.
  • One bright spot was safety Ryan Mundy who racked up nine tackles. Mundy took over the starting job for Stevie Brown earlier this year. With Brown out for the season, Mundy is worth a flyer.
  • For Carolina, DeAngelo Williams racked up 120 yards rushing. SELL. NOW. There won’t be a better time than right now to trade the 30-year old Williams for something.
  • Greg Hardy racked up three sacks for Carolina, proving just how valuable he is to Carolina’s front seven. Hardy is easily a top five defensive linemen in dynasty fantasy football.
