In the wake of the Kiko Alonso news, the most likely candidate to replace him is rookie Preston Brown. He was a tackle machine at Louisville and could be a good value in IDP leagues.- The news is all good for Cardinals running back Andre Ellington this off-season. Coach Bruce Arians is predicting 25 carries a game which would put him on track for 300 on the year.
- Dolphins defensive lineman Dion Jordan will be suspended the first four games of the, further complicating a chance to turn around his career. Jordan is not looking like a viable product in dynasty IDP leagues.

Daily Dynasty Update – April 16th
The 49ers signed receiver Brandon Lloyd after missing out on, seemingly, every other free agent at the position. As it stands, Lloyd’s ceiling would be as the 49ers third receiver but it would be a huge upset if San Francisco didn’t use one of the six picks they have in the first two days on a receiver. There’s very little potential for Lloyd in dynasty leagues.- In other 49ers news, local writers predict that linebacker Aldon Smith won’t play for San Francisco next year. It would be a huge blow for them and Smith including his dynasty value. Here’s hoping he can get some help and get his life on track.
- Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey is excited about last year’s third overall pick, Dion Jordan. Jordan can be classified as either a defensive end or linebacker but will have to show more ability to get to the quarterback if he’s going to be worth anything in 2014 dynasty leagues and beyond.
Dynasty Recap – Week 3 – Dolphins slip by Falcons, 27-23
- The Dolphins had a fairly efficient night scoring 27 points on 55 plays. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill had 236 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He’ll never be a long-term solution in dynasty leagues but he might not be a bad QB2.
- Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers had himself a nice day with 86 yards rushing and two catches for seven yards in place of Steven Jackson. Now would be a good time to sell high as Jackson might not be back until week 7 and Rogers is, by no means, the long-term solution. He has yet to crack the 4.0 YPC mark and won’t anytime soon.
- Dolphins rookie defensive end Dion Jordan had his second straight quiet game after racking up a sack in his pro debut. Now might be the time to pluck him off an unsuspecting victim and stash him away for taxi squad purposes.
- Meanwhile, Dolphins linebacker Dannell Ellerbe racked up 10 more tackles to go along with his 20 for the season. Ellerbe is a solid contributor in standard scoring IDP dynasty leagues.
