2015 NFL Draft – 28th Overall Pick – Lions Draft Laken Tomlinson

With the 28th overall pick, the Lions further beef up their offensive line with Laken Tomlinson. The Lions had the 23rd pick but traded back with Denver.

Tomlinson is mature and has the power to contribute in the NFL as a guard. The knock is lack of athleticism but he should provide immediate depth to an offensive line ranked 14th according to Pro Football Focus.

For dynasty purposes, it will help clear paths for both Joique Bell and Theo Riddick while providing more protection for Matt Stafford.

Dynasty Impact – Detroit Lions select Eric Ebron, TE

ebronDynasty Impact: Ebron, the best tight end in the draft, finally fills the black hole that is the Detroit Lions tight end position. Ebron will immediately garner targets and should elevate Matthew Stafford’s game. The pick should not have an impact on Calvin Johnson or even Golden Tate but Joseph Fauria dynasty owners have to be disappointed. Ebron will immediately be the top pick in dynasty mock drafts, especially in PPR leagues.
