Dynasty Recap – Week 2 – Cardinals beat Giants, 25-14

  • Encouraging news with Andre Ellington toughing out 91 yards on 15 carries. Ellington continues to prove he can handle the rock and should be considered a high-end RB2 in dynasty formats.
  • Also a good day on the other side with Rashad Jennings with 64 yards rushing and four catches for 45 yards. He’ll also be a RB2 in dynasty formats for the foreseeable future.
  • Out of nowhere, new Giants tight end Larry Donnell had seven catches for 81 yards and was second on the team in targets. At just 25-years old, Donnell could be a borderline TE2 in dynasty leagues.
  • On the IDP side, Cardinals end Calais Campbell had a big day for an end with 10 tackles and a sack. Campbell is a legit DL1 in all formats.

Dynasty Recap – Week 16 – Cardinals shock Seahawks,

  • The Cardinals running attached was more of the same. Incumbent Rashard Mendenhall ran for 63 yards on 21 carries for a 3 YPC. Meanwhile, Andre Ellington went for 64 yards on 15 carries and a 4.3 YPC. Ellington dynasty owners pray that Mendenhall won’t be back.
  • Seattle safety Kam Chancellor had 11 tackles and an interception. He’s been outshone by fellow safety Earl Thomas all year but today was vintage Chancellor. Him and Thomas are fairly interchangeable as far as Seattle safeties.
  • Arizona defensive end Calais Campbell had two more sacks on the day, giving him eight on the year. Campbell is a highly effective dynasty DL as his stat sheet is pretty diverse. He has 53 tackles on the year along with six passes defended.

Dynasty Recap – Week 11 – Cardinals beat Jaguars, 27-14

  • Cardinals running back Andre Ellington had even less carries than suspected with eight for three yards to go along with two receptions for 10 yards.
  • Cardinals receiver Michael Floyd had the best game of his career with six catches for 193 yards and a touchdown. With Larry Fitzgerald’s status unknown for next year, it wouldn’t hurt to explore Floyd’s availability in your dynasty league.
  • Cardinals tight end Rob Housler had his best game of the year with six catches for 70 yards on nine targets. Until Housler provides some consistency, Housler is a ‘sell’ candidate.
  • Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell had another sack to bring his season-total to five. Campbell continues to be one of the most consistent defensive linemen in the game.
