- Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton had a good game with 220 yards and three touchdowns. Dalton has his share of critics but should top out as a low-end QB1 going forward.
- Rookie running back Jeremy Hill had a big game with 152 yards on just 27 carries. It was a RB1 game but his value will suffer when Gio Bernard comes back.
- Bengals receiver A.J. Green had a comeback game with six catches for 127 yards and a touchdown. It’s been an inconsistent season for Green but we have doubts about him staying an elite option.
Dynasty Recap – Week 11 – Buccaneers beat down Redskins, 27-7
- Bucs quarterback Josh McCown had a good day with 288 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. It’s a lost season for Tampa so we don’t expect McCown to have any value beyond this year.
- Redskins running back Alfred Morris had another good day with 96 yards rushing to go along with two catches and 36 yards receiving, Morris had toughed out a bad start and regained some of his value.
- Bucs rookie receiver Mike Evans had a huge day with 209 yards on seven catches and two touchdowns. He could flirt with WR1 status the rest of the way.
Dynasty Recap – Week 11 – Rams upset Broncos 22-7
- Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning had a disappointing day with 373 yards and one touchdown along with two interceptions. This day was an anomaly as Manning should still be considered an elite option.
- Rams rookie running back Tre Mason had an ok day with 29 carries and 113 yards but a sub-4.0 YPC. It was a Zac Stacy-like day and Mason should be careful.
- Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas had another 100-yard game with seven catches for 103 yards. Thomas is at the top of the receiver class as long as Peyton is in town.
- Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree had a big day with 13 tackles, two passes defended and an interception. Ogletree is more valuable in big play IDP leagues where he should be considered a LB2.
Dynasty Recap – Week 11 – Bears beat Vikings, 21-13
- Bears quarterback Jay Cutler had a big day with 330 passing yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions. Cutler is maddeningly inconsistent but should average out to a low-end QB1 in dynasty formats.
- Bears running back Matt Forte had another big day with 117 yards rushing plus six catches for 58 yards. He’s a legit RB1 but his age is a factor in dynasty leagues. Be warned.
- Vikings receiver Charles Johnson finally broke out with six catches for 87 yards. He’s a physical freak who could see more time down the stretch if the Viking are out of it.
- Bears receiver Alshon Jeffery finally broke out with 11 catches for 135 yards and a touchdown. HE should still be considered a WR1 in dynasty albeit on the low-end of the tier.
Dynasty Recap – Week 11 – Texans surprise Browns, 23-7
- Texans running back Alfred Blue performed admirably in place of Arian Foster with 156 yards on the ground. He won’t overtake Foster as long as they’re on the same team but should be owned in all dynasty leagues.
- Browns running back Isaiah Crowell got the majority of carries and ended up with 61 yards on the ground plus two catches for 30 yards. He undoubtedly has the most upside of any of the Browns running backs and, hopefully, will continue to start.
- Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins led the team again with 80 yards receiving, continues a season that’s been better than Andre Johnson. Hopkins appears to have overtaken Johnson in Houston.
- Texans defensive end J.J. Watt had another sack with five tackles and a receiving touchdown. He’s the top DL in dynasty and fantasy league and it’s not even close.
Dynasty Recap – Week 11 – 49ers hang on over Giants,16-10
- 49ers running back Frank Gore turned back the clock with 95 yards on 19 carries. He showed what can happen if you give him the ball but should still be a non-factor in dynasty leagues next year.
- Giants rookie receiver Odell Beckham continues to impress with six catches for 93 yards. The only downside is he was targeted 13 times, converting less than half. But as long as keeps getting the reps, Beckham is a possible WR2 every week.
- Giants receiver Rueben Randle had a game-high seven catches for 112 yards on 15 targets. It was a nice game but we expect Randle to be the odd man out in New York next year.
- 49ers linebacker Chris Borland continues to impress with 13 tackles, 3 passes defended and two interceptions. He’s playing like a LB1 and should have a place in the lineup next year.
Dynasty Recap – Week 11 – Dolphins beat Bills, 22-9
- Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a very business-like day with 240 passing yards plus two touchdowns with no interceptions. This appears to be the norm for Tannehill which puts him in the QB2 tier but nothing more.
- Bills running back Bryce Brown had a decent day as the passing back with 14 yards rushing to go along with seven catches and 57 yards. Brown is widely expected to have a bigger role in Buffalo next year so this is a good start.
- Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry had quietly had one of the better rookie receiver seasons and added five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown He’s been a solid WR3 in PPR leagues.
- Bills defensive end Mario Williams had 3.5 sacks to bring his total to 10 for the year. He’s a solid DL2 even in dynasty leagues.
Dynasty Recap – Week 9 – Rams escape 49ers, 13-10
- 49ers receiver Anquan Boldin had a good day with 93 yards on six catches and a touchdown. Boldin continues to be the top target in San Francisco and should be considered a WR3 in dynasty formats.
- Rams defensive end Robert Quinn had another big day with two more sacks and has five in three games. He’s back to DL1 status.
- 49ers linebacker Chris Borland, filling in for Patrick Willis, had a game-high 18 tackles. He should be picked up as a dynasty LB in the event of another injury.
- 49ers safety Antoine Bethea continues to put up DB1 numbers with six tackles, two passes defended and an interception. He’s a good player on a good defense and should continue to be a DB1 in all formats.
Dynasty Recap – Week 9 – Patriots blow out Broncos, 43-21
- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had another big game with 333 yards and four touchdowns plus an interception. He should be a low-end QB1 with potential for more.
- On the other side of the field Peyton Manning had 438 yards and two touchdowns to go with two interceptions. He still has elite QB1 status.
- Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had another huge day with nine catches and 105 yards and a touchdown. He’s not only a TE1 but is probably more a WR1.
- Broncos receiver Emmanuel Sanders had a big day with 10 catches for 151 yards but no touchdowns. He’ll continue to be a low-end WR2 as long as he’s in Denver.
- Likewise, Demaryius Thomas had a big day with seven catches for 127 yards. Another WR1 day
Dynasty Recap – Week 9 – Seahawks squeak by Raiders, 30-24
- Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was the star of this one with 67 yards rushing and two touchdowns plus five catches for 76 yards. It was back to RB1 status for Lynch where he should continue to be this year. Past this year is up for debate.
- Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera had a big game with eight catches for 38 yards and two touchdowns. This was after a seven catch and 83 yards game. These are TE1 numbers if he can keep it up.
- Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright had a game-high 13 tackles to go along with a pass defended. He’s filling in admirably for Bobby Wagner and should be a LB1 for the time being.
