The news on Dolphins running back Knowshon Moreno keeps getting worse as he now may need knee surgery. Lamar Miller was already starting to run away with the job but this just confirms that.- It appears Giants tight end Adrien Robinson is not taking advantage of his opening. Those that held on to Robinson for this opportunity may need other options.
- Sad news as Packers running back Johnathan Franklin’s career is over. Franklin showed some flash last year before suffering the career-ending neck injury.

Daily Dynasty Update – June 19th
As expected, Toby Gerhart is expected to get a bulk of the carries in Jacksonville. Gerhart has plenty of tread left on the tires and is an interested dynasty case. He should top out as a RB2.- The Steelers are permanently installing the no-huddle which will mean more plays for the offense and an uptick for all players.
- For those holding out hope that Matt Barkley might develop into something of value in dynasty leagues, you could probably move on.
- In some positive Marcus Lattimore news, he looks better and more explosive. The 49ers running back situation is one of the most tenuous in dynasty.

Daily Dynasty Update – June 18th
49ers tight end Vernon Davis has begun a hold out. However, his age and salary don’t make it likely that he’ll get a new contract. His dynasty value is in tact.- The most logical player to replace him was Vance McDonald but he is struggling to hold on to the ball this off-season. McDonald has a golden opportunity but is blowing it.
- Dolphins running back Lamar Miller is still running ahead of Knowshon Moreno in OTA’s. Miller had the better dynasty value anyway but it’s even better for his immediate value.
- Be careful if you’re in the market for a running back in rookie drafts. Titans running back Bishop Sankey is viewed as a change of pace back by many.
- The Texans will roll with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback to open the year which means Arian Foster’s value will improve.

A new top five in dynasty linebacker rankings: Luke Kuechly, Lavonte David, NaVorro Bowman, Kiko Alonso, and Vontaze Burfict. - Rookies entering the rankings include Ryan Shazier at 15; C.J. Mosley at 32; Christian Kirksey at 44; and Tevin Smith at 46.
- Some notable movers include Alec Ogletree to 8 from 24; fresh off his suspension, Daryl Washington to 22 from 7; and on the flip side, Kevin Minter to 21 from 44; thanks to his latest injury, Sean Lee drops to 26 from 6.
Daily Dynasty Update – June 17th
People are expecting the Ray Rice suspension to last at least four games to start the season. It’s a substantial amount of time to miss for a player looking to rebound. The fuse on Rice’s dynasty value is running out.- Raiders receiver Denarius Moore hasn’t had good reports this off-season and is in serious jeopardy of losing a starting spot. Moore’s play has been maddening his whole career.
- Look for Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph to have a big year with the arrival of Norv Turner. Turner likes to use a ’12’ offensive alignment which allows one tight end to remain in-line to block while the other is free to catch. Rudolph would be the latter.
Daily Dynasty Update – June 16th
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce should be ready for training camp starting next week. Kelce could fly under the radar a bit in your dynasty leagues with the presence of some pretty good rookies.- Speaking of rookie tight ends, Jets tight end Jace Amaro lined up all over the place in OTA’s. We like Amaro as the top rookie tight end thanks to his immediate opportunity, lack of competition, and great receiving ability.
- Cowboys slot receiver Cole Beasley should shine in 2014 but be careful about his dynasty value. He’s a restricted free agent after this season and could see inflated value in the off-season.
- Redskins receiver Andre Roberts should handle return duties this year thanks to DeSean Jackson coming to town. If your league awards points for that, Roberts has some dynasty value.
Daily Dynasty Update – June 14th
Get ready for the Derek Carr bandwagon to get more crowded as he looks better in camp, at the moment, than Matt Schaub. Of course, there’s no pads or live-action yet so reserve judgement until then.- Giants linebacker Jon Beason should only miss 12 weeks with a fracture in his right foot, meaning he is not in danger of missing significant time this regular season. It’s a bullet dodged for Beason owners as he bounced back with the Giants last year.
- In one of the less sexy training camp battles, Andre Holmes appears to be the third receiver in Oakland over Denarius Moore. Moore has flashed potential in the past but never put it together. Holmes, while already 26, is fresh and could have some value.

Daily Dynasty Update – June 13th
Lions running back Joique Bell is still sitting out OTA’s after an off-season knee procedure. We’re still a long way from the season but keep monitoring it. Bell should be the starter in Detroit with Reggie Bush coming in for passing downs.- Giants linebacker Jon Beason was carted off with an injury yesterday. Except for two injury-plagued seasons, Beason has had at least 100 tackles each year. It would be a big blow for the Giants and Beason dynasty owners.
- Keep an eye on Browns receiver Andrew Hawkins in your dynasty leagues after putting in a solid performance in OTA’s. He probably wasn’t a keeper and could be available. His value, ironically, would be higher if Josh Gordon were going to be around to take away attention. As it is, Hawkins should still perform.
